Community Guidelines

To maintain the quality of content in our community and enhance the user experience, we have implemented a filtering system to address spam messages. Messages that may appear as promotional or unrelated to the community’s focus will be directed to a separate message tab designated for services.

This services tab provides an avenue for users to share and discover services available in specific locations. If you offer services that align with Midstay’s themes and focus, you are welcome to post them on our platform. However, we kindly ask all users to ensure that such posts provide value and relevance to the community.

When posting on Midstay’s platform, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Clarity and Relevance: Clearly describe the services you offer, ensuring they are relevant to Midstay’s themes such as short-term accommodations,, meetups, team retreats, workation, or networking for remote workers.
  2. Avoid Pseudonyms: Do not use pseudonyms, nicknames, or fake names when creating your account. Using a false name can lead to trust issues and violate the platform’s terms of service.
  3. Non-Spammy Approach: Avoid overly promotional language or aggressive marketing tactics. Focus on providing helpful information about your services.
  4. Value to the Community: Demonstrate how your services can add value to other community members, either by enhancing their remote work experience or supporting their travel needs.
  5. No Unauthorized Offers: Ensure that you have the right to promote the services you offer and that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Respectful Interaction: Engage with other community members in a respectful and professional manner. Answer questions and provide additional information when requested.
  7. Non-Violent Communication: Let’s communicate in a positive and constructive way. Disagreements are natural, but let’s express our views with empathy and understanding.
  8. Discrimination-Free Zone: We do not tolerate discriminatory jokes or comments based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age. Let’s embrace diversity and celebrate our differences.
  9. Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Our community has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment, bullying, or insulting behavior. Such actions are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
  10. Empower and Lift Each Other: Instead of tearing each other down, let’s lift each other up! Celebrate each other’s achievements and support one another’s growth.
  11. Be Mindful of Language: Let’s be mindful of our language and ensure that our words are respectful and inclusive to all members.

We encourage all members to actively participate in the community’s discussions, sharing insights, and networking with like-minded professionals. By following these guidelines, we can maintain a supportive and collaborative environment that benefits everyone.

Please remember that our primary focus is on fostering connections and providing valuable content related to short-term accommodations, team retreats, and remote work experiences.
