What Did 2Connect’s Team Retreat Itinerary Look Like?
As usual, the retreat was carefully designed by our retreat experts. This time, the goal was to balance team-building, cultural exploration, and celebration. The schedule went as follows:
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
The team arrived in Phuket and gathered for lunch together before checking into the hotel where they were greeted with their personalized SWAG. The afternoon was free for everyone to rest and reset after their travels. Around sunset, they came together for welcome cocktails by the beach and a festive dinner to set the tone for the upcoming retreat days.
Day 2: Adventure & Bonding
The second day started with a team breakfast before heading down to the beach for the first bonding activity of the retreat. The team had an ice-breaking team challenge planned, where the participants competed in a Tent Making Competition. It was an activity filled with laughter and collaboration – perfect to break down the shyness and create unity among colleagues who had never met prior to the event.
The day continued with a trip to Hanuman World to go on a ziplining adventure together and have lunch in nature. When arriving back at the hotel in the afternoon, the group got some well-deserved time to relax on their own before gathering again for a team dinner together.
Day 3: Culture & Celebration
On the third day of the retreat, focus was on cultural exploration and friendly competition. The team had breakfast and then took off to Phuket Old Town where the Midstay special – an Amazing Race activity – took place. Filled with problem-solving games, teamwork, and collaboration, it’s the perfect team activity for blending fun and team bonding while exploring the culture. The activity finished with sharing an authentic Thai food lunch.
The team came back to the hotel and had a chance to relax and recharge before the retreat’s final team dinner with a special twist: Gala Dinner. This evening was once again for celebration and joy as the team members toasted their achievements and the bonds they had formed during the retreat.
Day 4: Departure
After a last breakfast together as a group, participants checked out of the hotel and made their way to the airport, carrying home not only memories of the adventure and celebration, but also new relationships and improved communication.
