From September 13 to September 16 2024, Dava and Pacmar collected 24 members to come together for a four-day retreat in the scenic island of Phuket, Thailand.

Day 1: Arrival, Ice Breaker Games and Welcome Dinner
Upon arrival in Phuket, the Dava team gathered for lunch at E-San Restaurant. Afterward, they kicked off the retreat with a fun ice-breaker activity and received their customized swag. This warm welcome set a positive tone, allowing participants to relax and get acquainted in a casual setting. The team got a chance to have free time in the afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities before the evening concluded with a welcoming group dinner at Baan Suan Jai Khew Restaurant, where team members got to enjoy local cuisine and socialize.
Day 2: Morning Meetings and Cultural Experience at Siam Niramit
The second day began with a team breakfast and a productive meeting session followed by free time to unwind at the hotel’s facilities. After lunch, the team experienced an Olympic-style team-building game at the hotel, where Dava’s employees engaged in fun competitions that encouraged teamwork and communication. In the evening, the team experienced a true cultural immersion at Siam Niramit, a famous place in Phuket that includes traditional Thai markets, dinner experiences and cultural performances such as Thai dance, contemporary dance and comedy shows. The team got a chance to stroll around, have a rich dinner experience and watch one of their cultural shows which provided an engaging activity that strengthened the group’s camaraderie.
Day 3: Beach Walk, Boat Cruise and Gala Dinner
Day three kicked off with a refreshing beach walk and team breakfast, followed by a full day scenic boat cruise along Phuket’s coastline. The cruise offered stunning views and provided a relaxed setting for team members to engage in informal discussions and connect. The evening was rounded up by a gala dinner at Junkyard Restaurant which was a highlight to end the retreat, allowing the team to come together in an elegant setting and enjoy a fun experience to bond and reflect.
Day 4: Lunch, Exploration and Departure
The final day began with a team breakfast followed by a chance to relax, enjoy the hotel facilities and visit the nearby Patong Center for some shopping or a traditional Thai massage. After checking out, the team had lunch and got a chance to go souvenir shopping and sightsee Phuket City before heading to the airport, returning home with renewed connections and strengthened bonds.
